EU Council, EU Commission and EU Parliament agreed on a proposal for a regulation on markets in crypto assets (MiCA). The legislative train is awaiting first reading of the regulation in the EU Parliament. If EU Parliament adopts the proposal in December, MiCA might come into effect in 2024.
